sendTestMessage method

Allows a contact admin to send a test message to contact to verify that it has been configured correctly.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

resource - Required. The name of the resource to send the test message for. All contacts must either be set directly on this resource or inherited from another resource that is an ancestor of this one. Format: organizations/{organization_id}, folders/{folder_id} or projects/{project_id} Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+$.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a GoogleProtobufEmpty.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.

Implementation

async.Future<GoogleProtobufEmpty> sendTestMessage(
  GoogleCloudEssentialcontactsV1SendTestMessageRequest request,
  core.String resource, {
  core.String? $fields,
}) async {
  final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
  final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
    if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
  };

  final url_ =
      'v1/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$resource') + '/contacts:sendTestMessage';

  final response_ = await _requester.request(
    url_,
    'POST',
    body: body_,
    queryParams: queryParams_,
  );
  return GoogleProtobufEmpty.fromJson(
      response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
