detectLanguage method

Future<DetectLanguageResponse> detectLanguage(
  1. DetectLanguageRequest request,
  2. String parent, {
  3. String? $fields,
})

Detects the language of text within a request.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

parent - Required. Project or location to make a call. Must refer to a caller's project. Format: projects/{project-number-or-id}/locations/{location-id} or projects/{project-number-or-id}. For global calls, use projects/{project-number-or-id}/locations/global or projects/{project-number-or-id}. Only models within the same region (has same location-id) can be used. Otherwise an INVALID_ARGUMENT (400) error is returned. Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+$.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a DetectLanguageResponse.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.

Implementation

async.Future<DetectLanguageResponse> detectLanguage(
  DetectLanguageRequest request,
  core.String parent, {
  core.String? $fields,
}) async {
  final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
  final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
    if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
  };

  final url_ = 'v3/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$parent') + ':detectLanguage';

  final response_ = await _requester.request(
    url_,
    'POST',
    body: body_,
    queryParams: queryParams_,
  );
  return DetectLanguageResponse.fromJson(
      response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
