patch method

Future<Finding> patch(
  1. Finding request,
  2. String name, {
  3. String? updateMask,
  4. String? $fields,
})

Creates or updates a finding.

The corresponding source must exist for a finding creation to succeed.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

name - The relative resource name of the finding. Example: "organizations/{organization_id}/sources/{source_id}/findings/{finding_id}", "folders/{folder_id}/sources/{source_id}/findings/{finding_id}", "projects/{project_id}/sources/{source_id}/findings/{finding_id}". Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/sources/\[^/\]+/findings/\[^/\]+$.

updateMask - The FieldMask to use when updating the finding resource. This field should not be specified when creating a finding. When updating a finding, an empty mask is treated as updating all mutable fields and replacing source_properties. Individual source_properties can be added/updated by using "source_properties." in the field mask.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a Finding.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.

Implementation

async.Future<Finding> patch(
  Finding request,
  core.String name, {
  core.String? updateMask,
  core.String? $fields,
}) async {
  final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
  final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
    if (updateMask != null) 'updateMask': [updateMask],
    if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
  };

  final url_ = 'v1/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$name');

  final response_ = await _requester.request(
    url_,
    'PATCH',
    body: body_,
    queryParams: queryParams_,
  );
  return Finding.fromJson(response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
